West Trenton Line Disruptions Planned For 2 Weeks

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The rehabilitation of the west side track of the bridge carrying the West Trenton Line over the Raritan Canal will cause some disruption to commuters over the next few weeks.

SEPTA said to complete the work, weekend and weekday outages will continue through Friday, Aug. 14.

Shuttle buses will be utilized to transport passengers between West Trenton and Yardley Stations.

As a result, four rush-hour weekday trains will be impacted.

Inbound trains 6387 (6:57 am West Trenton departure) & 6309 (7:47 am West Trenton departure) and outbound trains 6380 (4:02 Suburban Station departure) & 6340 (4:40 pm Suburban Station departure) will not operate during this service disruption.

The West Trenton regional rail line stops at the following stations: Yardley, Woodbourne, Langhorne, Neshaminy Falls, Trevose in Lower Bucks County and Rydal, Noble, and Jenkintown-Wyncote in eastern Montgomery County before heading to Philadelphia.

Bus service replaces train service from Yardley to West Trenton Station on Aug. 3-7 and Aug. 10-14.

Passengers should allow an additional 25 minutes for travel.
