Yardley Man Sought By Police After Firing Gun Inside Lower Bucks Restaurant

Police were called to Asad's Hot Chicken at 2568 Knights Road in Bensalem on Monday for a report of a gunshot being fired.

BENSALEM, PA — An arrest warrant has been issued for 19-year-old Landon McMahon of Yardley after police say he fired a shot inside a Bensalem Township restaurant.

Bensalem Township Police were called to Asad's Hot Chicken at 2568 Knights Road in Bensalem on Monday for a report of a gunshot fired inside the bathroom. Upon arrival, they located a hole in the wall and bullet fragments on the floor.

Bensalem detectives launched an investigation, reviewing closed-circuit television footage from inside the restaurant and using intersection cameras and a license plate reader to identify the suspect, who fled the scene in a newer-model Infiniti sedan.

Bensalem Police obtained an arrest warrant for McMahon, charging him with recklessly endangering another person, firearms not to be carried without a license, and other related offenses.

The Middletown Police Department later attempted to conduct a traffic stop on McMahon while he was driving the Infiniti sedan; however, he fled from police.

Police said McMahon should be considered armed and dangerous. Members of the public are advised not to approach and to contact the police immediately.
