
Wednesday is National Hot Dog Day and Wally's Wieners is celebrating this year's holiday with one of its most over-the-top specialty menus yet.
With locations in Providence, Wally's is offering five Pocket Rockets — including the garlic bread bun, marinara, mozzarella, pepperoni and hot honey Stuffed Crust — for $14 each.
Wally's also has Loaded Dogs, the most luxurious of which is the Fancy Pants Dog (truffle buttered bun topped with caviar, crème fraîche, dill and chives) and sells for $32.

"For those looking for something more traditional, sister restaurant Olneyville New York System, one of Rhode Island's most iconic wiener institutions, is also celebrating with National Hot Dog Day specials, including two wieners all the way with fries and a soda for $12.95 or with Rhode Island coffee milk for $14.21," according to a media release.
National Hot Dog Day always falls on the third Wednesday of July.
