Here’s Rhode Island's Fall Forecast From The Old Farmer’s Almanac

With all this heat in Rhode Island in recent weeks, you may be thinking: When's fall coming? And will it finally cool down?

Rhode Island residents can expect cooler-than-normal temperatures this fall, according to a new seasonal forecast from The Old Farmer’s Almanac.

The fall forecast calls for a cool and dry fall season for Rhode Island and much of southern New England. The majority of Northern New England, meanwhile, can expect a cool and wet fall season, according to the Almanac.

The Northeast in general will have an uptick in precipitation over traditional averages, according to the Almanac.

September and October will be cooler and drier than average in the Atlantic Corridor, with temperatures about 1 degree below normal along with roughly 1 inch less rainfall than usual.
