Johnson & Wales Women's Basketball Makes NCAA Tournament
The JWU Wildcats face the University of Southern Maine in the opening round.
PROVIDENCE, RI — The Johnson & Wales secured a berth in the NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Tournament for the first time in 10 years.
The Wildcats defeated Western New England University Sunday in the Conference of New England Championship at the Wildcat Center, beating the Nor'Easters 77-76.

JWU now faces the University of Southern Maine in the opening round of the NCAA tournament Friday. Tipoff is at 5:15 p.m.
The first and second rounds of the tournament will be hosted by Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine.

The winner will face either Bowdoin or Emmanuel College in the second round Saturday.
