Providence Faces Boston University In Hockey East Women’s Tournament

PROVIDENCE, RI — Providence will face Boston University in the opening round of the Hockey East Women’s Tournament.

The ninth-seeded Friars take on the eighth-seeded Terriers in Boston Wednesday in a 6 p.m. game.

If Providence prevails, they go up against either No. 1 seed Northeastern University or second-seeded UConn.

The Friars head into the tournament after dropping a pair of games last weekend to Boston University and Northeastern.
