Providence Man Charged With Stealing, Accessing Computer For Fraud: Cops
The Providence man was released on his own recognizance, police said.
PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence man was charged with stealing and accessing a computer for fraudulent purposes, police said.
Jerred Vecchio, 49, was arrested Friday by the Rhode Island State police Financial Crimes Unit, the state police said in a media release.
Vecchio was charged with obtaining money by false pretenses and accessing a computer for fraudulent purposes, the release said.

Vecchio was processed, arraigned and released on his own recognizance, according to police.
