Providence Women's Hockey Hits Road To Face BC And Yale
Providence enters the weekend with a 7-13-2 overall record and a 4-7-2 mark in Hockey East play.
PROVIDENCE, RI — The Providence College women’s hockey hits the road for matchups against Boston College Yale University.
The Friars travel to Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts Friday to face the Boston College Eagles at 2 p.m. Providence then head to New Haven, Connecticut, on Monday for a non-conference contest against Yale. Puck drop is set for 6 p.m.

Both games will be streamed on ESPN+.

Last weekend, Providence hosted Northeastern University. The Huskies defeated the Friars 5-2 at Schneider Arena. After senior Sarah Davies scored the lone goal of the first period to give Providence a 1-0 lead, Northeastern responded with four goals in the second period and secured the victory behind a hat trick from Stryker Zablocki, handing the Friars their third straight loss.

Providence is now 3-8-0 against ranked opponents this season.

The Friars play five of their next six games and seven of their next nine on the road. Providence is 3-8-0 in away games this season. The Friars have just four home games remaining in the regular season and are 4-5-2 at Schneider Arena this year.
