Providence Women's Hockey Home Against UConn Friday Before Hitting The Road

PROVIDENCE, RI — The Providence College women’s hockey team hosts the University of Connecticut Friday before hitting the road to face Merrimack College in Andover, Massachusetts.

The Friday game starts at 6 p.m. and the Saturday contest begins at 7 p.m.

Friday’s game will be streamed on ESPN+ and TSN+, while Saturday’s contest will air on ESPN+.

Providence enters the weekend with a 9-17-2 overall record and a 6-10-2 mark in Hockey East play after sweeping a weekend series at the University of Vermont.

Goaltender Hope Walinski was named Army ROTC Defender of the Week on Monday, Feb. 2 and defenseman Cristina Cavaliere was named Army ROTC Defender of the Month for January.
