Rhode Island Foundation Awards $290K In Grants
The grants will fund work ranging from educational programs for children and housing to food pantries and arts activities.
The Rhode Island Foundation is giving $290,000 in grants to nonprofit organizations serving Newport County residents.
"The funding will support work ranging from educational programs for children and housing to food pantries and arts activities," according to a media release.
“We are honored to be able to help our community partners carry out their vital work,” David N. Cicilline, the Rhode Island Foundation’s president and CEO, said in the release.
