Romantic Rhode Island Among The Best States For Finding Love: Study
Rhode Island is in exclusive company when it comes to the best states for finding love.
Rhode Island ranked near the top as far as the best states for finding love, a recent study revealed.
"With over 40% of Americans unmarried and dating apps seeing record user numbers, a new study by the digital entertainment platform BC Game reveals where singles have the best odds of meeting someone," according to a media release.
The researchers at BC Game, an online cryptocurrency gambling platform, "examined dating prospects across America to find where singles have the best chance of meeting a partner," the release said.

"The report tracked how many men and women are still unmarried in each state, showing the size of the dating pool," according to the release. "The research then looked at how happy couples are and how often marriages fall apart to see whether relationships there actually work out."
The study also counted bars and restaurants per 100,000 residents and the typical cost of going out on a date.

After everything was taken into consideration, Rhode Island turned out to the be third best state for finding love in all of America.
The study pointed out that three out of five Rhode Island women are single, and more than half of men are single as well, "meaning there is not much competition to find a partner."
The Ocean State managed to make the top three despite ranking only 23rd for "most attractive state," according to the study.
Illinois was the No. 1 state for "most attractive" with California placing second.
Rhode Island does offer "plenty of spots for meetups, with hundreds of restaurants and cafes in every town, even more than in NY," the release said. "Prices here are also cheaper, with typical dates costing around $165, nearly half of what New Yorkers pay."
New York, incidentally, was the best state for finding love, followed by Massachusetts.
