State Stocking 25 Rhode Island Waterways With Trout

The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management is stocking 25 waterways with brook and rainbow trout.

The process starts Friday and will continue through Oc.t 8, the department said in a media release.

The following bodies of water are to be stocked:

• Alton Pond in Richmond
• Barber Pond in South Kingstown
• Blackstone River in Lincoln
• Browning Mill Pond in Exeter
• Carbuncle Pond in Coventry
• Carolina Trout Pond in Richmond
• Cronan Landing in Richmond
• Eight Rod Farm Pond in Tiverton
• Grantville to Interstate 95 in Hopkinton
• Hope Valley Fishing Area in Hopkinton
• Kings Factory Bridge in Charlestown
• Lower Shannock in Charlestown
• Meadow Brook Pond in Richmond
• Route 165 Check Station to Wyoming Dam in Exeter and Hopkinton
• Onley Pond, Lincoln Woods State Park in Lincoln
• Round Top Ponds in Burrillville.
• Shippee Sawmill Pond in Foster
• Silver Spring Lake in North Kingstown
• Spring Grove Pond in Glocester
• Stafford Pond in Tiverton
• Upper Pawtuxet in Scituate
• Upper Melville in Portsmouth
• Willet Pond in East Providence
• Woodville in Richmond and Hopkinton
