Thunderstorms Ahead: Rhode Island Weekend Weather

Expect thunderstorms this weekend in Rhode Island, the National Weather Service predicted.

Friday's high heat and humidity will be followed by patchy fog and a chance of thunderstorms Friday night as the low temperature hovers around 73 degrees.

There is a slight chance of more thunderstorms Saturday with more patchy fog before the skies turn sunny.

Thunderstorms remain in the mix Saturday night, as does a chance of more rain while the low temperature will be 73.

Sunday will be sunny with a high of 86 and Sunday night will be mostly clear as the low drops to 69.

The work week starts with a sunny Monday as the high climbs to 84 degrees.
