Warwick Man Charged With Elder Exploitation, Extortion And Blackmail: Cops
The Warwick man was located by the Everett, Massachusetts, Police Department, the Rhode Island State Police said.
WARWICK, RI — A Warwick man was charged with the exploitation of an elder, extortion and blackmail, police said.
Bruce McKenzie, 37, was also charged with obtaining more than $5,000 worth of property by false pretenses and driving without the consent of an owner or lessee, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
McKenzie was investigated by the state police but he was located by the Everett, Massachusetts, Police Department, according to the release.

McKenzie was processed at state police headquarters and held overnight for a morning arraignment, the release said.
