Coventry Man Killed In Motorcycle Wreck: Cops

COVENTRY, RI — A Coventry man was killed in a motorcycle crash, police said.

Officers sent to Centre of New England Boulevard east of Village Green Circle shortly before 1 p.m. Thursday to investigate a motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle found a seriously injured Andrew Brailey, 30, the Coventry Police Department said in a media release.

Brailey was taken to Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, according to the release.

"Despite life-saving efforts, the victim succumbed to his injuries at Rhode Island Hospital," the release said.

The collision remains under investigation by the Coventry Police Patrol Division and Coventry Police Collision Reconstruction Team, according to the release.
