My daughter, Sophia Paliotti, started her journey in the Coventry school system. When she was a junior in high school, she started the Enrichment Program at CCRI, where she was attending classes at the high school but also taking college-level courses after school. For her senior year, she joined Running Start and completed her first year of college at CCRI and received her high school diploma. A year later, she received her Associate’s degree in psychology and graduated with honors (magna cum laude). She then went on to transfer to Rhode Island College to complete her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and graduated with honors (cum laude). From there, she wanted to continue and further her studies, so she applied and was accepted into the psychology program at Rhode Island College. After two years, and also during this time, she was awarded a grant from Tufts University. She went on to receive her Master of Arts in Psychology and began her CAGS program. This May, she will officially receive both her Master of Arts in Psychology and Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study.
