Prowler Leaped Out Window When Confronted By Couple: Cops
The burglar fled on foot after jumping out the window, police said.
COVENTRY, RI — A prowler jumped out a window after a couple woke to find him in their Coventry home, police said.
The break-in was back on Valentine's Day but the Coventry police are still searching for the burglar, the department said in a social media post.
The sleeping couple woke about 5:15 a.m. and confronted the intruder, according to police.

"Fortunately, no one inside was harmed," police said.
The prowler fled on foot after jumping out the window, police said.

"Coventry Police detectives have been investigating the incident since it occurred that morning, processing evidence and following up on leads," according to police, who asked anyone with information to email it to tips@coventrypd.org or to call the case detective at 401-825-6342.
