The Cranston Historical Society cordially invites you to join us for Cranston 250th lecture on RIs signer of the Declaration of Independence.

About: We will briefly explore the complex life of Stephen Hopkins and how this self-taught person helped shape political and economic life in the U.S. colonies. Through his eyes and experiences, we'll look at some events in Rhode Island leading up to the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776.
