Parts Of Cranston Street Closing For Sewer Repairs

CRANSTON, RI — A portion of Cranston Street and Park Avenue in Cranston will be closed from Thursday through Oct. 21, city officials said.

Veolia Water will be performing sewer rehabilitation work from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. at the intersections of Cranston Street and Knight Street and Cranston Street and Park Avenue.

A portion of the roadway at Cranston Street and Park Avenue will be closed during this time. Knight Street will be closed to all traffic from and to Cranston Street. There will be additional work being performed along America Street during this time period as well.

Police said to seek alternative routes.
