Wanted Pawtucket Man Caught By Cranston Cops: Police

CRANSTON, RI — A wanted Pawrtucket man was collared by the Cranston cops, police said.

James Semedo, 40, was arrested about 6:30 p.m. Monday on a warrant charging him with simple assault and/or battery, disorderly conduct, and refusal to relinquish telephone, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

The state police investigated Semedo and the Cranston police located him, according to the release.

"Semedo was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and held overnight pending arraignment/presentment as a probation violator at the Sixth Division District Court," the release said.
