On Tuesday, May 5th,from 7-9 PM, the East Greenwich Art Club will meet at the East Greenwich United Methodist Church, 1558 South County Trail, East Greenwich. The meeting is free and open to the public. Local artist, Pamela Rojas, will present a program: La Mariposas: My Art Journey”. Rojas, a middle school art teacher and graphic artist, has created a series of portraits of women who are unsung heroes. She uses mixed media as means to call attention to the richness of their experience, using art as a tool to connect with others.
