Scholarship Phone-a-thon Wraps Up

Donate now for this year's awards

April 30 marks the end of Scholarship Foundation of East Providence’s 2026 phone-a-thon campaign. All contributions received through the phone-a-thon will be distributed as scholarships this year. East Providence families who received a phone call during the recent phone-a-thon are asked to submit their check by the end of April. Local residents who were not contacted by phone are also invited to support this annual fundraiser.

The annual phone-a-thon is the major source of funds for scholarships for East Providence residents graduating from high school and for students already enrolled in college, career or technical school. Last year, with generous support from the community, 168 local students were able to continue their education beyond high school.

If you are a Townie, if you are an alumnus of East Providence High School, if you are a past recipient or family of a past recipient, or if you want to ensure that every local student is able to further his or her education, please consider this week making a tax-deductible contribution, payable to Scholarship Foundation of East Providence, to P.O. Box 154438, East Providence, RI 02915. Any amount is welcome. Donations of $200 or more can be awarded as a named scholarship. Contributions to Scholarship Foundation of East Providence can be made at any time. However, in order to prepare for administration of this year’s awards, contributions received after the deadline will be used for 2027.
