Connecticut Man Caught After Rhode Island Police Pursuit: Cops
The Stamford man was apprehended in Hopkinton, police said.
HOPKINTON, RI — A Connecticut man was captured after a high-speed pursuit, police said.
Donald Thigpen, 48, was arrested shortly after 1:15 a.m. Friday, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Thigpen was charged with reckless driving — eluding law enforcement in a high-speed pursuit, according to the release.

"The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle pursuit and subsequent motor vehicle stop" on Interstate 95 in Hopkinton, the release said.
Thigpen was processed at the Hope Valley Barracks, arraigned by a justice of the peace and released with a court date, according to police.
