Massachusetts Man Charged With DUI After Johnston Crash: Cops
The Stoughton man was also charged with refusing to submit to a chemical test, police said.
JOHNSTON, RI — A Stoughton man was charged with driving under the influence after a crash in Johnston, police said.
Jamir Vernet, 22, was arrested shortly before 3 a.m. Friday following the crash on Route 6, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Vernet was also charged with refusing to submit to a chemical test, the release said.

Vernet was processed at state police headquarters and held overnight pending an arraignment in Third Division District Court, according to the release.
