MA Man Charged With Cheating At Texas Hold 'em At Bally's Lincoln Casino: Cops

LINCOLN, RI — A Massachusetts man was charged with cheating at Texas hold'em, police said.

Chung Wong, 54, was arrested about 11:30 p.m. Friday by the Rhode Island State Police Gaming Enforcement Unit, the state police said in a media release.

Wong, a resident of Quincy, was charged with casino gaming cheating — wager based upon knowledge not known to all players, according to the release.

Wong's arrest was the "result of a Gaming Enforcement Unit investigation of a table games cheating incident on Texas Hold 'Em that occurred on July 16, 2026, at the Bally's Twin River Lincoln Casino Resort and securing an arrest warrant," the release said.

"Mr. Wong was processed Lincoln Woods Barracks and released on $10,000 personal recognizance bail after an appearance in front of a Bail Commissioner," according to the release.
