“Frozen Pond” Stoneware Workshop Scheduled in Wakefield

A hands-on ceramic workshop, the “Frozen Pond” Stoneware Class, will take place on Friday, May 22 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Rebekah Cook Art, located at 344 Main St. in Wakefield.

The workshop introduces participants to layered glazing techniques, allowing them to create a custom stoneware piece with unique color combinations. The class is designed for all skill levels, and all ages are welcome.

The $20 workshop fee includes studio use, instruction, glazing, firing, and light refreshments, along with coffee and tea. Participants will select and purchase their stoneware piece during the event, with prices typically ranging from $25 to $65.

All finished pieces are microwave-, oven-, and dishwasher-safe. The event is also BYOB-friendly.
