Pawtucket Man Charged With Eluding The Law Apprehended: Police

The man was arrested following a barracks investigation, police said.

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — A Pawtucket man wanted on a charge of eluding the law was apprehended, police said.

Kyle Martins, 31, was arrested shortly after 2 p.m. Friday, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Martins was charged with reckless driving and other offenses against public safety, eluding a law enforcement vehicle in a high-speed pursuit and duty to stop for an accident resulting in damage to a vehicle, according to the release.

"The arrest was the result of a Barracks investigation and subsequently taking Martins into custody at General Dynamics Electric Boat in the Town of North Kingstown," the release said.

Martins was processed at the Wickford Barracks, arraigned and released with a court date, according to police.
