North Providence Man Wanted On Murder Charge In New York Captured: Cops
The North Providence man was arrested as a result of an investigation by the Rhode Island Fugitive Task Force, police said.
NORTH PROVIDENCE, RI — A North Providence man wanted on a charge of first-degree murder in New York City was captured in Rhode Island, police said.
Antonio Jimenez, 46, was apprehended about 8:30 a.m. Thursday, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Jimenez was arrested by the state police Violent Fugitive Task Force, the FBI and the New York City Police Department, according to the release.

"The arrest was the result of an investigation by the Violent Fugitive Task Force," the release said.
Jimenez was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and arraigned as a fugitive from justice, according to the release.
