Pawtucket Woman Charged With Stealing More Thank $10 Worth Of Property: Cops

The Pawtucket woman surrendered to the law and was arrested, police said.

PAWTUCKET, RI — A Pawtucket woman was charged with stealing more than $10,000 worth of property, police said.

Rosa Martinez, 34, surrendered at the Rhode Island State Police Wickford Barracks about 11 a.m. Monday and was arrested on charges of obtaining more than $10,000 property by false pretenses or personation, fraudulently obtaining mroe than $500 worth of public assistance, fraudulent use of more than $500 in food stamps, forgery and counterfeiting, giving a false document to agent, employee or public official, the state police said in a media release.

Martinez was processed and taken to Third District Court for an arraignment.
