New Asian-Inspired Restaurant Opens At Providence's Track 15
The restaurant opened this week in the food hall.
PROVIDENCE, RI — A restaurant known for its Asian-inspired comfort food has opened at Track 15.
Yagi is the newest addition to the downtown food hall.

Yagi is owned by chef Basil Yu and Kodi Keith, Yagi, according to the release, and has "earned a loyal following in Newport for its handmade noodles, inventive seasonal dishes and warm, family-driven approach to hospitality."

"The acclaimed Newport restaurant brings its signature Asian-inspired comfort food to the capital city, featuring housemade whole wheat noodles, bold flavors and a menu rooted in Chef Basil Yu’s distinctive blend of Japanese and Chinese techniques," according to a media release.
“We are thrilled to welcome Yagi to Track 15,” Track 15 owner Chris Marsella said in the release.
“Basil and Kodi have built something truly special in Newport, and we are excited to introduce their food to even more Rhode Islanders and visitors in Providence," Marsella said. "Yagi is a perfect fit for what we continue to build at Track 15 — a dynamic collection of standout local concepts that reflect the strength and creativity of Rhode Island’s culinary community.”
