New Pizzeria Opens In Providence's Track 15
The Pizzeria is latest establishment to set up shop in the 18,000 square-foot food hall.
PROVIDENCE, RI — A new pizzeria has opened in Providence's Track 15.
Grumpy Pies, a Roman-style pizza place, is now open.

“We are thrilled for the launch of Grumpy Pies here at Track 15,” Chris Marsella, the owner of Track 15, said in a media release.

“The initial response to Chef Ian's offerings has been overwhelmingly positive and we are excited to see
him continue to expand his menu in the coming weeks," Marsella said.
Grumpy Pies was created by chef Ian Cappelano, who previously worked at Mother Pizzeria.

"Grumpy Pies serves Roman-style party pizza, or pizza alla pala,' with a rotating selection with premium toppings, including domestic and European charcuterie and cheeses, seasonal inspiration, and some new “trashy” favorites like Carolina BBQ," the release said.
