Tiverton Woman Charged With Fraudulently Obtaining Public Assistance: Cops
The Tiverton woman was also charged with making a false statement to obtain a replacement public assistance check, police said.
TIVERTON, RI — A Tiverton woman was charged with fraudulently obtaining public assistance, police said.
Jennifer Darling, 49, was also charged with making a false statement to obtain a replacement public assistance check and and giving a false document to an agent, employee or public official, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Darling was located by the Little Compton Police Department and arrested about 6:30 p.m. Friday, the release said.

Darling was processed at state police headquarters, arraigned and released with a court date, according to police.
