Warwick Man Charged With Stealing More Than $10K Worth Of Property: Cops

The Warwick man was also charged with fraudulently obtaining public assistance, police said.

WARWICK, RI — A Warwick man was charged with stealing more than $10,000 worth of property.

Sandy C. Cintron, 40, was arrested about 8:30 p.m. Thursday on charges of obtaining more than $10,000 worth of property through false pretenses or personation, making a false statement to obtain a replacement public assistance check of more than $500, fraudulently obtaining more than $500 in public assistance, and giving a false document to an agent or employee, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Cintron surrendered to police, was processed, arraigned and released with a court date, according to police.
