New Jersey Man Arrested In West Greenwich On Forgery, Counterfeiting Charge: Cops
The resident of Elizabeth was pulled over in West Greenwich, police said.
WEST GREENWICH, RI — A New Jersey man was pulled over in West Greenwich and arrested on a forgery and counterfeiting charge, police said.
Emil Munguia Matamoros, 42, was stopped on Interstate 95 and arrested about 8:15 a.m. Wednesday on charges of forgery and counterfeiting of registration plates and giving false documents to a public official, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
"Matamoros was processed at the Hope Valley Barracks and misdemeanor released with a future Third Division District Court arraignment date," according to police.
