Wanted Providence Man Captured During Traffic Stop: Cops
The Rhode Island State Police Commercial Enforcement Unit obtained a warrant for the Providence man's arrest, police said.
WEST GREENWICH, RI — A wanted Providence man was apprehended during a traffic stop in West Greenwich, police said.
Wackneer Aguilar Gil, 32, was arrested shortly before 2 a.m. Tuesday on a warrant charging him with obstructing an officer in execution of duty and giving false documentation to a public official, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
The state police Commercial Enforcement Unit obtained the warrant for Aguilar Gil's arrest, according to the release.

Aguilar Gil was arrested during a traffic stop on Interstate 95, the release said.
Aguilar Gil was processed at the Hope Valley Barracks, arraigned by a justice of the peace and released with a court date, according to police.
