West Warwick Woman Wanted On Drug Charge Nabbed: Cops

WEST WARWICK, RI — A West Warwick woman wanted on a drug charge was apprehended, police said.

Victoria Barrett, 33, was arrested shortly after 10:30 p.m. Friday on a warrant charging her with possession of a controlled substance, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Barrett was also arrested on a charge of possession of fentanyl, the release said.

Barrett was arrested at her Main Street home, according to the release.

Barrett was processed at state police headquarters, arraigned and taken to the Adult Correctional Institutions — Women's Intake Center, the release said.
