Red, White & Run: Memorial Day Miles with Meaning
Hit the ground running (and remembering) at Houston Running Company's Memorial Day Half Marathon, 10K & 5K on Monday, May 25.

Start your Memorial Day on the right foot - literally! Houston Running Company’s (HRC) annual Memorial Day Half Marathon, 10K, 5K and Family 1K returns on Monday, May 25, offering a meaningful way to honor the brave men and women of the U.S. military who made the ultimate sacrifice. Whether you’re racing for a personal best or strolling with family (strollers welcome!), this event brings the community together in remembrance and gratitude.
Race Details & Schedule: Held at St. Thomas High School (4500 Memorial Drive), this patriotic race is the fifth event in HRC’s popular Holiday Series. The Half Marathon kicks off at 7 a.m., followed by the 10K and 5K at 7:30 a.m., with an awards ceremony at 9 a.m. and the Kids/Family 1K at 9:15 a.m.
“We like to say this race has a lot of sole - and soul,” said race co-founder Randi Schooley. “It’s a chance to put one foot in front of the other in honor of those who gave everything for our country. Every stride is a tribute, and every finish line is a moment of reflection and gratitude.”
