Celebrate America's 250th anniversary with the Adelphi Orchestra as Northern New Jersey’s longest continuously performing chamber orchestra opens its landmark 73rd season under the direction of Principal Conductor Kyunghun Kim!

To conclude the performance, Maestro Kim leads the orchestra in Ludwig van Beethoven’s joyful Symphony No. 8 in F major, Op. 93.

Are you curious about the Kindergarten interview? Or wondering what a child's admissions playgroup looks like? We are here to help! We invite PLNY member families to join us for a conversation between Barbara H Scott, PLNY's Executive Director, and leaders from our member school community. Together, our panelists will offer insight into all you need to know about Kindergarten school visits. Whether your child will be interviewed in October or January, PLNY can help you reflect on the what's what as you manage your family's kindergarten journey.
An exciting time for the whole family, beginning Kindergarten should be fun, and the interview is a first step. Our aim is to empower you as a parent, so you can empower your child. There are no silly questions, only the adventure of learning what to expect, how to prepare, and whether the interview is the make-or-break moment that parents worry about.
Topics Explored:

Kindergarten interviews, visits, and playgroups

How your child will engage with school professionals and what activities they might complete

Interview and playgroup prep: How to dress, when to arrive and knowing your child's temperament

Handling your child's separation for their interview, playgroup or visit

The transition to Kindergarten and how admissions is a first step of a developmental milestone
