ARTS CENTER AT DUCK CREEK FARM

The
Arts Center at Duck Creek (<a href="https://www.duckcreekarts.org/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://www.duckcreekarts.org/</a>) announces a summer benefit concert featuring jazz vocalist and composer Georgia Heers, performing live with her quartet on the grounds of Duck Creek in East Hampton on Thursday, July 9 from 6 to 8 p.m., with a rain date of July 10 from 6 to 8 p.m. The evening will include a first look at material from her highly anticipated debut album.

Heers is among the most compelling young voices to emerge from the New York jazz scene in years. A graduate of the Oberlin Conservatory and The Juilliard School (Master of Music, 2023), she made her Broadway debut before the age of 25 in George Clooney's landmark 2025 production of Good Night, and Good Luck — the first live play ever broadcast on CNN — and has since been performing at the top jazz venues in New York City as she prepares to release her first record.

She will be joined by a quartet of serious New York musicians: Jason Clotter on bass, who has shared stages at Carnegie Hall, the Blue Note, and Ronnie Scott's with artists including Samara Joy who performed at Duck Creek in 2021 before she won a Grammy for best vocal album in 2023 (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xvo-VeMnKIk" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xvo-VeMnKIk</a>); Jimmy MacBride on drums, a Juilliard graduate named one of DownBeat Magazine's "25 for the Future," whose credits include Herbie Hancock, Terence Blanchard, and Wynton Marsalis; and Will Hill on piano, a Detroit-born YoungArts Foundation honoree who has performed at the Kennedy Center and Blue Note Tokyo alongside Christian McBride.

The outdoor concert will be accompanied by local fare from Montauk Pearl Oysters, Balsam Farms, Springs Brewery, East Hampton Wines &amp; Spirits, and Sagaponack Distillery — all included with admission.

This benefit directly supports The Arts Center at Duck Creek's free, radically accessible and ambitious interdisciplinary arts programming at Historic Duck Creek Farm. For the many music lovers who have attended Duck Creek's free concerts over the years—from emerging artists to future Grammy winners—this evening offers a meaningful opportunity to give back and help ensure that extraordinary artistic experiences remain free and accessible to all.

East Hampton Historical Society has announced their 20th Annual Antiques &amp; Design Show Benefit, the region’s premier showcase of antiques and mid-century decorative arts for the home and garden, will take place on Saturday, July 11th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday, July 12th
from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The annual benefit event will kick off with a Preview Cocktail Party on Friday, July 10th from 6 – 8:30 p.m. The event returns to the historic Mulford Farm at 10 James Lane in East Hampton as part of the Historical Society’s continuing celebration of America’s 250th anniversary. A fitting venue as a tribute to East Hampton’s rich heritage, the three-acre property, maintained by the Historical Society, features one of the most intact colonial farmsteads in America. This setting provides a perfect backdrop for the elegant white tents that house the show’s treasures, making for a picturesque time to observe and shop.

Throughout the weekend, an impressive lineup of more than 50 antiques and art dealers will showcase vintage decorative pieces for the home and garden, spanning styles from classic to contemporary. Special attention will undoubtedly be given to antiques and collectibles that celebrate America’s Colonial and early American heritage in honor of the semi quincentennial.Attendees can expect to find everything from classic rattan and bamboo furniture to intricate lighting, textiles, and architectural elements. Other highlights include American and European country-decorated furniture, Art Deco and Moderne pieces, garden ornaments, wrought-iron accessories, industrial items, paintings, trade signs, period jewelry, weathervanes, and mirrors. With such a diverse collection, the show promises something for every taste and interest. There are items for seasoned collectors and casual enthusiasts.
Now celebrating its 20th anniversary, the Antiques &amp; Design Show has become a highly curated event that attracts the top designers who love supporting the Historical Society and shopping the show,” says Debbie Druker, President of the Historical Society’s Board of Trustees. “The designers – especially the thirty who serve on our Design Committee – purchase tickets to the Preview Party so they won’t miss out on the perfect item they’re seeking for their clients.”
This year, The East Hampton Historical Society is thrilled to have one of the most respected and celebrated names in interior design Tom Scheerer serve as Honorary Chair. Over the past three decades, Scheerer has become renowned for his signature style—a “relaxed modernism,” as he calls it. As Architectural Digest put it, “If a no-nonsense decorator sounds like an oxymoron, Scheerer proves otherwise. Unfussy precision is where his talent reigns.” The New York Times considers Scheerer “perhaps . . . the most expert proponent today” of “the vanishing art of great American design, as pioneered by Van Day Truex, Billy Baldwin and Albert Hadley.” He is the subject of Tom Scheerer Decorates and the author of Tom Scheerer: More Decorating and Tom Scheerer: Still Decorating. His work has been included in such design compendiums as Inspired Design: The 100 Most Important Designers of the Past 100 Years and is regularly featured in Architectural Digest, Town &amp; Country, T Magazine, House Beautiful, and Elle Decor, among many other national and international publications. He is annually named to Elle Decor’s A-List Titans.

East Hampton Historical Society to Host 20th Annual Antiques & Design Show Benefit

The Hampton Ballet Theatre School (HBTS) is excited to perform the delightful ballet Peter and the Wolf on Monday, July 27th
at LTV Studios and Wednesday, July 29th at Children’s Museum of the East End. The production is a collaboration between the Hampton Ballet Theatre School, the Hampton Festival Orchestra and a live “celebrity” narrator. 
Peter and the Wolf will be danced by the students of the Hampton Ballet Theatre School. The ballet is choreographed by HBTS director Sara Jo Strickland and features the beautiful costumes of Yuka Silvera and Kate McManus. The score will be played by the Hampton Festival Orchestra, a group of professional musicians hailing from the East End. They are conducted under the passionate precision of Dr. Andrew Perea. 
Sergei Prokofiev’s famous score introduces the ballet’s characters as the sounds of musical instruments. The East End community will be enchanted by this magical interpretation of a classical masterpiece.

St. Luke’s Episcopal Church invites the community to the annual St. Luke’s Summer Fair on Saturday, July 5, on the church lawn in the heart of East Hampton Village.
A treasured East Hampton tradition, the Summer Fair is a joyful day for families, neighbors, parishioners, and summer visitors. Admission is free, and children’s wristbands will be available for $40 for children ages 2 and older to enjoy fair activities, including classic games, pony rides, and other family-friendly fun.
Guests can also enjoy a food stand, bake sale, vintage clothing, silent auction, and other favorite fair traditions. Proceeds from the Summer Fair support St. Luke’s and its outreach efforts, including local nonprofit partners such as Springs Food Pantry and Maureen’s Haven.
