Grace Centers of Hope (GCH) presents the 28th Annual “Women Helping Women” Luncheon &amp; Fashion Show from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, at the Royal Park Hotel, 600 E. University Dr. in Rochester. This elegant event, an ideal Mother’s Day weekend outing, will showcase spring fashion trends from Somerset Collection and boutique retailers.
A silent auction and raffles will begin at 10 a.m., followed by luncheon and a fashion show featuring professional models from RGA Model Management, as well as women currently participating in GCH’s One-Year Life Skills Program. Tara Tomcsik-Husak, President and CEO of the Troy Chamber of Commerce, will serve as this year’s host, bringing more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit leadership and community engagement.
Guests will enjoy an inspiring afternoon celebrating women and community while taking in fashion, raffles and a silent auction. Raffle prizes include a $2,000 VISA Shopping Spree and a Grand Indulgence Spa Getaway featuring a one-night stay at the Royal Park Hotel, breakfast at Park 600, a luxury spa day at Evexia Wellness Spa, dinner at Kruse &amp; Muer, plus wine and chocolates.
All proceeds from the Fashion Show will benefit the Women’s Program at GCH, which offers comprehensive Life Skills programs to help women and families overcome challenges such as homelessness, addiction, abuse and crisis. Grace Centers of Hope “Women Helping Women” 28th Annual Luncheon & Fashion Show, May 9

Grace Centers of Hope (GCH) invites volunteers to take part in Hope in Action 2026, a day of service dedicated to strengthening the Pontiac community and supporting individuals and families working to rebuild their lives through GCH’s programs. 
Hope in Action brings together hundreds of volunteers to serve, restore, and reflect God’s love through meaningful, hands-on work. From improving living spaces to revitalizing community areas, volunteers play a direct role in advancing the life-changing work happening every day at Grace Centers of Hope.
Volunteer opportunities are available for individuals, families, church groups, and corporate teams, with projects designed to make a lasting impact across GCH’s campus and surrounding Pontiac neighborhoods. Projects include:

<li>Landscaping at Grace Centers of Hope facilities and residential homes </li>
<li>Porch painting and outdoor beautification </li>
<li>Community garden revitalization and preparation </li>
<li>Garden fence installation</li>
<li>Playground and daycare refresh projects (power washing, mulch, painting)</li>
<li>Neighborhood cleanup and litter removal in surrounding areas </li>
</ul>
Meals will be provided for all volunteers at Noon.
All tools and materials will be supplied, though volunteers are welcome to bring additional gardening tools if available.
Whether you serve for a few hours or the full day, Hope in Action offers a meaningful opportunity to give back, connect with others, and improve your community.
