Berkeley College’s 11th annual Women’s Entrepreneurship Week event brings together student entrepreneurs and women- and minority-led community businesses to learn, connect, and turn ideas into action. This year’s theme, “The Smart Hustle: AI for Small Business,” will share best practices on how aspiring entrepreneurs can use AI in ways that are practical, accessible, and immediately useful – not as another technology buzzword, but as a tool that can help small business owners save time, reduce costs, improve marketing and operations, and compete more effectively.
This event is open to students, alumni, and the community. Space is limited and registration is required. To learn more about sponsorships for our 2026 event, email KME@BerkeleyCollege.edu.

Watchung Booksellers hosts a writers' workshop for creatives who are stuck in their process with therapist Amos Kamil on Sunday, October 25 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Stuck isn’t a discipline problem. Most workshops on creative block treat it as a craft problem — outline more, write badly on purpose, lower the stakes. Useful, but it treats the symptom. As a therapist who works with writers and creative people, Amos Kamil goes one layer deeper: block is usually not a craft failure, it's a psychological pattern doing its job (protecting against exposure, failure, an old judgment) and it responds to different tools than craft advice does.
The workshop's promise: leave having identified your specific sabotage pattern and practiced one concrete tool against it, live. In this introductory workshop, you'll leave with:
*A named pattern (your own version of the "quiet agent" derailing you) *One practiced tool you can use again unassisted *A one-line diagnosis of where your current project is stuck in the larger arc, not just "stuck"
Tickets are $80 for the two-hour introductory workshop. Purchase at watchungbooksellers.com.
