America250: Free Independence Day Concert
Celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary with a free afternoon of patriotic music in downtown Binghamton. Beginning at 4:00pm, the Grenadiers Alumni Drum Line presents a dynamic program tracing the history of American drumming from colonial times to the present.
At 5:00pm, the Binghamton Philharmonic Orchestra takes the stage with a festive concert featuring beloved American classics, including music by Copland, Gould, Sousa, Berlin, and Tchaikovsky, culminating in the 1812 Overture and Stars and Stripes Forever.
Bring a lawn chair and celebrate Independence Day with live music for all ages.

The Oak Trio brings a dynamic chamber music performance to the elegant setting of the Phelps Mansion Museum as part of the Binghamton Philharmonic’s Garufi Law P.C. Phelps Mansion Museum series. Featuring violinist Nathaniel Amaral, cellist Leland Ko, and pianist Evren Ozel, the ensemble showcases the depth and intimacy of the piano trio repertoire.
Audiences can enjoy an afternoon of refined musicianship in a historic venue, offering an up-close concert experience that highlights the artistry of these rising classical performers.

The Binghamton Philharmonic Orchestra presents Simple Gifts, Sacred Praise, a concert of two favorites: Aaron Copland’s Appalachian Spring (featuring the beloved Shaker hymn “Simple Gifts”) and Ludwig van Beethoven’s Mass in C with the Southern Tier Singers' Collective, the Binghamton University Chamber Singers, and vocal soloists by special arrangement with Curtis Artist Management at Curtis Institute of Music.
