A conversation on the future of nuclear energy with Seth Grae, a 
sought-after speaker at international conferences, universities, and in 
the media on topics related to nuclear power.
Grae is chairman and
 CEO at Lightbridge, a publicly-traded company based in Virginia that 
advances state-of-the-art fuel technology with the potential to 
transform the safety, economics and efficiency of nuclear power plants. 
Lightbridge also acts as an advisor to emerging nuclear markets on

Seth
 Grae has served on Lightbridge's board of directors since the company's
 formation in October 2006. He leads the organization's efforts to 
develop and deploy advanced nuclear fuel technology to generate more 
electricity while enhancing safety and proliferation resistance.
Grae
 holds several prominent positions in the nuclear energy sector, 
including chairman of the American Nuclear Society's International 
Council, a member of the American Nuclear Society’s Trustees of Nuclear 
Leadership Council, a member of the board of directors of the Nuclear 
Energy Institute, and a member of the board of directors of the Virginia
 Nuclear Energy Consortium.
Through his leadership at Lightbridge,
 Grae has served in advisory roles to governments of countries 
developing or expanding nuclear power programs, spanning from initial 
feasibility studies through procurement and operations. Notably, 
Lightbridge developed the strategic plan for commercial nuclear power in
 the United Arab Emirates.

Civility in America Series: Seth Grae on the Future of Nuclear Power

An evening with former U.S. Attorney Barbara McQuade, who will discuss her new book The Fix: Saving America from the Corruption of a Mob-Style Government.
 Moderating the conversation will be Asha Rangappa, a former FBI agent 
and a senior lecturer at Yale University’s Jackson School of Global 
Affairs.
In The Fix, McQuade draws on her decades of 
experience as a federal prosecutor to reveal how systems of organized 
crime and political opportunism exploit the levers of power, using 
corruption, cruelty and chaos as tools to dominate institutions and 
eliminate accountability. With clarity, precision and moral force, she 
exposes the tactics of today’s far-right MAGA system: information 
warfare, aggressive retribution, conformism enforced by fear, and 
pervasive dismantling of legal checks and balances necessary to defend 
the public interest and uphold justice.

Barbara
 McQuade is a professor from practice at the University of Michigan Law 
School, her alma mater, where she teaches courses in criminal law, 
criminal procedure, national security and data privacy. She is also a 
legal analyst for NBC News and MSNBC, and co-host of the #SistersInLaw podcast.
From
 2010 to 2017, McQuade served as the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern 
District of Michigan. She was appointed by President Barack Obama and 
was the first woman to serve in her position. Earlier in her career, she
 worked as a sportswriter and copy editor, a judicial law clerk, an 
associate in private practice, and an assistant U.S. attorney. McQuade, 
author of the national bestseller, Attack from Within, lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan with her husband. They have four children.
Asha
 Rangappa is a senior lecturer at Yale University’s Jackson School of 
Global Affairs and a former associate dean at Yale Law School. Prior to 
her current position, Rangappa served as a Special Agent in the New York
 Division of the FBI, specializing in counterintelligence 
investigations. Her work involved assessing threats to national 
security, conducting classified investigations on suspected foreign 
agents and performing undercover work. While in the FBI, she gained 
experience in electronic surveillance, interview and interrogation 
techniques, firearms and the use of deadly force.&nbsp;

Change the Game. Leave the Game: Pathways to Black Empowerment, Prosperity, and Joy.</a> The book has been longlisted for the Porchlight Business Book Award. The conversation will be moderated by Michael Hyman.

 psychologist Robert Livingston contends that racism operates like an 
addiction for so many white people: hard to admit, and even harder to 
quit. Given their unwillingness to kick the habit, where does this leave

Dr. Robert Livingston is
 a race scholar who serves on the faculty of the John F. Kennedy School 
of Government at Harvard University. He is the author of The Conversation, selected as a Financial Times Best Book of 2021 and nominated for a 2022 NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Literary Achievement. His research has appeared in&nbsp;The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Time, Newsweek and Harvard Business Review.
 For more than two decades, he has been a diversity consultant to more 
than 100 Fortune 500 companies, public-sector agencies, and non-profit 
organizations.
Michael Hyman is the Director of 
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Domus. Michael joined Domus in 2006 
and is the director of diversity, equity, and inclusion and co-leader of
 The Equity Institute @ Domus. For 10 years prior, he was director of 
Domus’ Chester Addison Center, a vibrant family-centered community hub 
in Stamford’s Waterside neighborhood. As a life-long activist and 
organizer concerned about social justice issues, Michael is a former 
Stamford NAACP president and board member of several educational, 
social, and religious agencies. &nbsp;

TIME 6-8PM, June 4th. “Piece by Piece”&nbsp;is a striking 6-foot-high by 8-foot-wide collaborative installation inspired by an iconic work of American art. The mural was divided into a grid of 48 individual square panels, each reimagined by a different member of the&nbsp;Artists Collective of Westport. Reveal is at 7PM. Without knowing the identity of the original artwork, each artist received only a printout of a single 12” x 12” section and a blank panel on which to create their own interpretation using any medium they chose. The result is a vibrant and often surprising mosaic of styles, perspectives, and artistic voices — a playful yet powerful celebration of community, creativity, and collaboration. As the individual pieces come together, the larger image is gradually revealed, reminding viewers that every contribution plays a role in the creation of something greater than itself.

 The theme of&nbsp;“American Journeys,”&nbsp;the all-member exhibition presented by the&nbsp;Artists Collective of Westport, was inspired by this year’s national commemoration of America’s 250th birthday. The title reflects the idea that there is no single American journey, but rather a tapestry of countless personal paths, experiences, struggles, and triumphs that together define the American story. More than 60 members of the Collective contributed work to the exhibition, offering a rich diversity of artistic expression and interpretation. All works are available for purchase and are on view in the Sheffer and South Galleries at the&nbsp;Westport Library. 
Both exhibits open on June 4 from 6 to 8pm, with the unveiling of Piece by Piece at 7p

The family-friendly event will feature a DJ, a 50/50 raffle, food trucks, and more, creating a festive atmosphere for car enthusiasts and families alike.
Sponsorship opportunities begin at just $50, with options such as $125 for a Trophy Sponsor&nbsp;and $250 for an on-site sponsor package. Automobile dealership opportunities begin at $500, which includes on-site participation and the opportunity to display a vehicle. Greenwich Magazine/Moffly Media will once again serve as the exclusive media sponsor.
“This year’s car show is especially meaningful as the Greenwich Police Department celebrates 130 years of service to the community,” said Chief of Police James Heavey. “For more than a century, our officers have worked to protect and serve the residents of Greenwich with professionalism and dedication. The Scholarship Fund reflects our commitment to supporting the families of those officers, and the car show is a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together, celebrate that legacy, and help invest in the next generation.”
Children of Greenwich Police officers who demonstrate ability, character, and academic promise&nbsp;and who qualify for undergraduate studies&nbsp;are eligible to receive financial assistance through the Greenwich Police Department Scholarship Fund.

Nothing says spring better than our popular Classic Design Luncheon and Lecture! We’re honored to feature Genevieve Wheeler-Brown, the author of&nbsp;<a href="https://beyondblueandwhite.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">“Beyond Blue and White.”</a>
Wheeler-Brown’s book explores the history of Delftware ceramics, focusing on the often-overlooked roles of women as makers, patrons, and collectors, from 17th-century factory owners like&nbsp;Barbara Rotteveel&nbsp;to Gilded Age collectors like&nbsp;Mrs. J. Pierpont Morgan. A must for devotees of decorative arts and the history of material culture. 
Location: The award-winning Jay Estate Gardens designed by Nelson Byrd Woltz. Co-Chairs, Tracy Edwards, Liz Garrett, Emmy Lambert, Lindsay Bello Martin and Suzanne Clary.

GENEVIEVE WHEELER BROWN
Founding Genevieve Wheeler Decorative Art Advisory in 2003, Genevieve comes to the advisory business with more than 12 years of experience in the auction world, strong generalist knowledge and a wide range of contacts in American, European and Asian decorative and fine arts.
Genevieve began her career with Christie’s in 1992 with the European Decorative Arts Department after working as an intern at The Phillips Collection, Washington D.C. in 1990. She was then asked to run Overseas Consignments at Christie’s Park Avenue, a department that handled inquiries for European based auctions including Indian and Southeast Asian art, Islamic Art, Miniatures, Textiles and Cameras. In 1995 Genevieve became the New York contact for sales of Fabergé and Russian Silver at Christie’s Park Avenue and most recently was as a specialist in Fine Musical Instruments at Christie’s Rockefeller Center from 1998 to 2003.
While at Christie’s, she was involved with important sales such as ‘The Pine Cone Egg’ by Carl Fabergé and ‘The Taft’ Stradivari which fetched the auction record for an instrument sold in the United States. She has also been an appraiser on the PBS production ‘The Antiques Roadshow’.
A supporter of several fine and decorative art related institutions, Genevieve has served on the Board of the National Society of Colonial Dames in the State of New York, served as a member of the Young Fellows Steering Committee of the Frick Collection from 1995 to 2005 and co-Chaired the Winter Antiques Show Young Collector’s Night, New York in 2004, 2005, and 2006.
Genevieve currently advises several organizations including <a href="https://www.dumbartonhouse.org/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Dumbarton House</a>, a Federal period house museum in Georgetown, as a board member as well as for <a href="https://www.thewintershow.org/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">The Winter Show</a> as a vice-chair of Opening Night and as co-founder of The Winter Show Luncheon.About The Jay Heritage Center
