Join Cannaware on October 24, from 1:00-5:00 p.m. at Kafou Gallery - 1120 Washington Avenue, 2nd Floor, Brooklyn, NY 11225, for our Bridging the Generational Gap event. As plant medicine use becomes increasingly normalized, the way we communicate about it at home is lagging behind the reality of its presence in our communities. We are facing a significant lack of clinical guidance for our elders and a critical need for transparent, age-appropriate dialogue with our youth. Join our expert panelists as they engage in an in-depth discussion on how we can effectively bridge the generational communication gap surrounding plant medicine. This discussion will provide valuable insights into how different age groups perceive plant medicine and the importance of understanding diverse viewpoints. Alongside this year’s critical conversation, attendees will have the opportunity to rejuvenate their body, mind, and spirit at our wellness stations.
Tickets are pay-what-you-wish! Grab your spot for as little as $1For more details and to RSVP, visit https://cannaware.org/medicine.

Berkeley College’s 11th annual Women’s Entrepreneurship Week event brings together student entrepreneurs and women- and minority-led community businesses to learn, connect, and turn ideas into action. This year’s theme, “The Smart Hustle: AI for Small Business,” will share best practices on how aspiring entrepreneurs can use AI in ways that are practical, accessible, and immediately useful – not as another technology buzzword, but as a tool that can help small business owners save time, reduce costs, improve marketing and operations, and compete more effectively.
This event is open to students, alumni, and the community. Space is limited and registration is required. To learn more about sponsorships for our 2026 event, email KME@BerkeleyCollege.edu.
