The rain date is September 25th.&nbsp;Ticket packages include unlimited rides, food and fun!

Access is included with admission ticket purchase.&nbsp;
For over 35 years, our annual Pumpkin Park Halloween event has become an extremely popular family-friendly way for visitors of all ages to get into the Halloween spirit and go Trick-or-Treating along “Sweet Street” in the park. The annual event draws in about three-thousand visitors per year. The 44th Annual WICC Surfside Hotel <a href="https://www.bluefishtournament.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Greatest Bluefish Tournament on Earth</a> returns to Long Island Sound on Saturday, August 29, with fishing officially beginning at 12:01 a.m. Anglers from New York and Connecticut will compete for bragging rights—and a $25,000 grand prize awarded to the tournament's largest bluefish.
The weekend-long tournament features more than $40,000 in total cash prizes, including:
<ul><li>1st Place: $25,000</li><li>2nd Place: $7,500</li><li>3rd Place: $2,500</li><li>Smaller cash prizes awarded through 20th Place</li><li>Port Prizes awarded for the heaviest bluefish weighed at each official Connecticut and New York weigh station (see below for complete list of weigh stations)</li></ul>
Young anglers, 17 and under, will also have the chance to win big. The tournament will award a $1,000 cash prize to the largest bluefish caught by a youth angler. Second and third place youth winners will receive $100 gift cards.

The Jay Heritage Center in Rye, New York will celebrate America at 250 with a toast to Jay Medal honorees Pulitzer Prize-winning author Annette Gordon-Reed, the Carl M. Loeb University Professor at Harvard University and award-winning Lincoln historian Harold Holzer.
The Jay Medal for Service was created in 2012 to recognize individuals who demonstrate a selfless spirit of commitment to and engagement with their community mirroring the multifaceted contributions of John Jay and his descendants. These honorees have demonstrated through their life's work that our shared narratives as a country, complicated as they are, can be better illuminated through the highest caliber of ongoing scholarship and advocacy. Honorees are selected for their excellence in the fields of American history, environmental stewardship, social justice or civic engagement.
Joining the celebration will be Chief Judge of the State of New York and the New York Court of Appeals, Honorable Rowan D. Wilson and historian and philanthropist Elihu Rose who will present the awards at JHC's annual Soirée. Special guests will include David Blight, Frank Cogliano, Joanne Freeman, and Beverly Gage.

All-inclusive celebration will showcase 25-plus restaurants, 20-plus beverage companies, Led by Chef Eric LeVine and hosted by DJ CHEF
FARMINGDALE, N.Y., July 22, 2026 — The Long Island Wine &amp; Food Classic will return to Farmingdale State College on Saturday, September 19, 2026, bringing together leading restaurants, chefs, specialty food purveyors, vineyards, craft breweries and premium beverage brands for an all-inclusive tasting experience.
The event paused in 2025 because the Farmingdale State College campus was rented for Ryder Cup-related use. It returns bigger and better beneath an expansive 80-foot-by-200-foot tent, where guests will enjoy signature dishes, locally produced wines, craft beers, premium spirits, cocktails, ready-to-drink beverages and nonalcoholic refreshments. All tastings and entertainment are included with admission.
“This event was created to bring the very best of Long Island’s food and beverage community together in one extraordinary setting,” said Steven McKenna, founder and producer of the Long Island Wine &amp; Food Classic. “We are committed to delivering a larger, more exciting experience that celebrates our hospitality professionals while supporting a meaningful cause.”
Farmingdale State College will serve as more than the host location. The event will connect the College, its students, alumni and the broader business community with leaders from the culinary, hospitality, tourism, beverage and event-production industries, creating opportunities for engagement, hands-on experience and experiential learning.
Leading the culinary experience will be Chef Eric LeVine, the acclaimed chef and restaurateur behind Farmingdale favorites 317 Main Street and Vico Costiera Amalfitana, along with Stage 317, The James Room and The Nutty Irishman. Chef LeVine will curate an exceptional lineup of established restaurants, respected chefs, emerging talent and specialty food purveyors from Nassau and Suffolk counties.
The evening will feature DJ CHEF “The Chef That Rocks!”whose performances combine live DJ entertainment, culinary demonstrations and audience interaction. A Food Network Cutthroat Kitchen Champion who has appeared on Bravo, MTV, FOX and HGTV, DJ CHEF has entertained audiences from the Hamptons to Dubai. He will host the event and keep the energy high as guests taste, sip and celebrate.
A portion of the event’s net proceeds will benefit the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, supporting its mission to provide mortgage-free homes and other vital assistance to America’s fallen and catastrophically injured military heroes, first responders and their families.
