If so, it's time to have a chat about their future ... and yours.
But how do you start what may be a difficult conversation? What topics should you raise? How should you handle push-back from parents or siblings? Where can you get advice? What resources are available? How do you tell your mother or father it’s time for them to give up driving? Or that they need to move to a new residence where they’ll be safe, and cared for?
What’s Step One?
Get answers from experts at 7pm on Wednesday, September 23 during a free Community Conversation hosted by American Legion Post 38 at the First Baptist Church of Haddonfield (124 Kings Hwy East).
The presenters will be: • Linda Goldberg of Lotus Elder Care &amp; Counseling. An aging life care professional and president of the NJ Chapter of the Aging Life Care Association. • Grayson Heberley, an elder law attorney. • Adam Puff of Haddonfield Financial Planning. • Lois Edmund, a downsizing specialist with Seniors on the Move. • Addy Schultz, a former adult child and a current aging parent.

First Methodist Church of Moorestown invites the entire community to its Third Annual Apple Festival on Friday, September 18, from 4:30–7:30 p.m. The festival will be held rain or shine at 446 E. Camden Avenue in Moorestown.
Bring your family and friends for an evening filled with fall fun, food, entertainment and opportunities to make lasting memories together.
Festival attractions include:
• Live music • A magician • Bounce houses • Face painting • Balloon art • Children’s activities • A family photo station • Kona Ice • Handcrafted items • Apples by the bag • Apple cider and apple cider doughnuts • Picnic food and baked goods
Admission includes the festival activities and one apple dessert with ice cream.
ADMISSION
• Adults: $8 • Children under 10: $6 • Family admission: $25 for up to five people • Children under 3: Free
Additional food, beverages and merchandise will be available for purchase.

What if being more consistent isn’t about sticking perfectly to the plan—but learning how to adapt when the plan changes?
This fall, Growth &amp; Grit Health &amp; Wellness is offering Rethink&nbsp;Exercise, an online 11-day email created for women who want a more realistic, adaptable approach to staying physically active.
From October 4–14, participants will explore practical ways to rethink consistency, respond to obstacles, build confidence through small wins, and find ways to stay active within the realities of everyday life.
