Lynnfield Middle School

The Think of Michael Foundation and A Healthy Lynnfield will host the 8th annual Night of Hope event on Sunday, October 4, 2026. The event starts at 5:00pm at Lynnfield Middle School with resource tables staffed by local treatment providers offering information about mental health issues and substance use disorders. All attendees will receive a free tee shirt and a votive. At 6:00 p.m. participants will walk to the Town Common where speakers will share their recovery stories.
The community is invited to come out and show support for those that struggle every day to reclaim their lives from substance use disorders and to celebrate hard-fought successes for those who remain substance free. 
As an awareness-raising and family event, parents are encouraged to start conversations early with their children about healthy choices and the impact substance use can have. 
The Think of Michael Foundation provides scholarships to Sober House living which is not covered by insurance.For many, it is an invaluable part of their transition to sobriety.

The Officer Sean Collier Memorial Fund is hosting a Music Bingo fundraiser on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Princeton Station in Chelmsford. Doors open at 7:00pm.Music Bingo begins at 8:00pm.Tickets are $25 per person. Attendees are welcome to bring their own snacks. A cash bar and raffle tickets will be available to purchase. The Fund provides charitable services that recognize and honor law enforcement officers who gave their lives in the line of duty, while supporting their surviving family members. It sponsors events that foster goodwill and perpetuate respect and appreciation for law enforcement and first responders, and it promotes better understanding between officers/first responders and young people. Join Boston College design professor Sunand Bhattacharya for an engaging talk exploring how human-centered and inclusive design can help create longer, better lives for individuals, families, caregivers, and communities. Through stories, real-world examples, and emerging innovations, discover why designing for super aging may be one of society's next great design challenges.

By sensitively and skillfully interweaving improvised trumpet and flamenco guitar with traditional mandinka kora and vocals from Senegal, FlamenKora creates timeless and enchanting multicultural music; a welcome balm in these troubled times. Volker Goetze’s evocative trumpet lines dance gracefully with the soulful vocals and kora of his newest duo partner, the esteemed master of traditional Mande music – Ali Boulo Santo Cissoko. Up-and-coming Rio de Janeiro and Madrid based flamenco guitar maestro Roberto Monteiro is the newest band member, adding authentic Spanish flair with driving rhythms and subtle, imaginative colors. As the group’s founder and producer, Goetze brings a special wisdom to FlamenKora, acquired not only through decades of devotion to West African Mande music, but also through a deep mastery of jazz composition and arrangement and a recent deep dive into the melodic and rhythmic traditions of flamenco. In 2025 FlamenKora spent June in residence at the Manship Artists Residency, developing new compositions and deepening the project’s fusion of flamenco, kora traditions, and jazz.

This joyful 23‑year community tradition takes place Saturday, October 3 from 1 to 3 PM on the front steps of All Saints, directly across from Danvers Town Hall, where neighbors, families, and their animal companions gather each year to honor the gentle spirit of St. Francis and to celebrate the creatures who share our lives. The event is rain or shine.
The Blessing of the Animals is free and open to all, welcoming every faith and no faith.
Whether you bring pets, photographs, collars, urns, children clutching favorite stuffies, or simply yourselves, you are warmly invited to greet our new pastor and share in an afternoon of gratitude, blessing, and connection.
For everyone’s comfort and safety, please bring pets leashed or in a carrier.
For animals unable to join us — because of illness, distance, or because they now walk in our hearts — prayer papers will be available to honor them.

Dueling Pianos is back. Bring your friends and have a ball. Dueling Pianos is a massive "to the top of your lungs" sing along with all your friends! Two grand pianos are center-stage with a team of outrageously talented pianists that seem to know every song ever written.
Each show is different because it's all request. And you or your friends might get called up onstage for a bit of good humored fun and some unforgettable you-tube moments. These shows are request oriented, interactive sing-a-longs wherein two piano players sit across from each other and trade songs. The dueling piano audience is used for the dueling aspect of the show. Audience members are pitted one-side-against-the-other. Examples of rivalries include country vs. rock, men against women, etc.
Dueling piano shows often take unexpected turns, like involving wait staff members, changing song lyrics or roasting popular audience members. There aren't many boundaries. It's one big sing-along party, swaying to the music and bellowing-out familiar lyrics. You're not just being entertained by the piano players - you are part of the show!
"Think YOU won't sing along? Just TRY not too.... I dare ya!"
