The Metrowest Symphony Orchestra will present child prodigy Kingsley Chen in Beethoven’s Piano Concerto no. 2 in B-flat, conducted by Max Hobart, on May 17, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. The concert will also include the popular “New World “ Symphony by Antonin Dvořák.
The concert takes place at the Dwight Performing Arts Center at Framingham State University. Free parking. Handicap accessible. Tickets are $20 for adults; $10 for seniors, veterans, and students; free for FSU personnel and children under 12. Tickets may be purchased in advance at MSO website or at the door 30 minutes prior to concert. MSO is a&nbsp;Card to Culture participant.
The Metrowest Symphony Orchestra is the Orchestra-in-Residence at Framingham State University.

How do I becomeaDementiaFriend?
You become a Dementia Friend by attending a free 90-minute information session to learn the five key messages about living with dementia and the simple things you can do to make your community a safer, supportive, and more inclusive place for people living with dementia and their care partners.
What Happens at the Information Session?
It’s an engaging and interactive discussion led by an experienced volunteer Dementia Friends Champion. You’ll learn what dementia is, the different types, what it’s like to live with it, tips for communicating with people with dementia, and about the extensive available resources and support for families and care partners.

“This has opened my eyes.”&nbsp;“I wish I knew this five years ago when my family was going through it.”&nbsp;“I will be much more aware at work and out in my community.”
