Presented by the Holocaust Remembrance Foundation of the Valley (hrfv.org), this special concert invites you to celebrate tradition and share joy for $36 per ticket.So what is Klezmer music you ask? It is the musical equivalent of a Jewish family gathering - one minute it's laughing, the next it's crying, and somehow it's dancing the whole time.
Originating in the Jewish communities of Eastern Europe, Klezmer blends joyful melodies, soulful sighs, foot-stomping rhythms, and plenty of spirited improvisation. The clarinet often steals the show, sounding as if it's telling a funny story, sharing a heartfelt memory, and inviting everyone onto the dance floor all at once.
