<h2>Mano a Mano: Arias in Dialogue</h2>
​Mano a Mano: Arias in Dialogue is a one-hour concert program that places iconic European arias in dialogue with Spanish and Latin American counterparts—introducing classical Hispanic repertoire to new audiences. Through themes of identity, love, and community, the program draws connections between operatic classics and often-overlooked Latin American gems. This season features seven world premieres of newly arranged works by Laura Intravia, specially commissioned for this project by mezzo-soprano Fanny Lora, and performed with a Boston-based chamber ensemble. Each concert includes a brief post-performance discussion to foster cultural exchange and community dialogue across New England and beyond.

The Lyman Estate Greenhouses will hold our Spring Herb Sale May 8th and 9th 2026 from 9:30-4:00 rain or shine. Hundreds of culinary, ornamental and medicinal plants will be available. Along with early perennials mixed planters and houseplants. The Historic Greenhouses will be open during the sale. Herb on the grounds behind the greenhouses.

Open Spirit

Get ready for a fun night filled with creativity and good vibes as we come together in person to support Open Spirit.
There will be amazing artwork, inspiring poetry, and captivating performances. It's the perfect chance to connect, enjoy, and celebrate the arts. 
​Doors will open at 6:30pm and performances will begin at 7:00pm.

​Performance by Harmony Grove's Willie Sordillo and singer Zoe Kronhe&nbsp;with visual artist, Patrick St. Pierre, painting his impression of the music in real time.

​Dynamic Poetry Line Up Including:

<ul><li>Spoken word artist Reason Being, rapper, poet and writer who has a unique perspective and delivery style.</li><li>Sarah Fuhro, an award winning poet and potter.</li><li>Lisa Breger, author of Ways I've Known Water.</li><li>Liz Rosseel, poet and photographer</li></ul>
Art, Pottery, and Photography Show and Sale
​Artists:

<ul><li>Patrick "Daydream" St. Pierre&nbsp;is a Framingham based artist creating vibrant, story-driven work. He works out of the Saxonville Mills and paints murals and fine art.</li><li>Valarie Poitier, an internationally recognized fiber artist and quilter. Her artworks often stitch together her interpretation of historical events and have been exhibited in galleries and museums across the world. She is the current Artist in Residence at Open Spirit.</li></ul>
Potters:
<ul><li>Sarah Fuhro's&nbsp;pottery is a reflection of her love of the earth ad the forms and images that inspire her.</li><li>Candy Sidner&nbsp;has been making pottery for over 30 years. She makes functional ware, often decorated with flowers, birds, or scenes, and also makes animal sculptures.</li></ul>
Photography:
<ul><li>Fran Bogle, a life-long nature lover, traveler, writer and photographer. She enjoys taking photos that invite us to look into the world in new ways.</li><li>Liz Rosseel is working on a collection of photographs and poems. She finds inspiration from the natural world as well as from the twists and turns of our everyday lives.</li></ul>
Refreshments will be served.
There will be art for sale and a silent auction, with proceeds going to support Open Spirit. Cash or check only for silent auction.

How do I becomeaDementiaFriend?
You become a Dementia Friend by attending a free 90-minute information session to learn the five key messages about living with dementia and the simple things you can do to make your community a safer, supportive, and more inclusive place for people living with dementia and their care partners.
What Happens at the Information Session?
It’s an engaging and interactive discussion led by an experienced volunteer Dementia Friends Champion. You’ll learn what dementia is, the different types, what it’s like to live with it, tips for communicating with people with dementia, and about the extensive available resources and support for families and care partners. 
Participants say:
“This has opened my eyes.”&nbsp;“I wish I knew this five years ago when my family was going through it.”&nbsp;“I will be much more aware at work and out in my community.”
